My First Bike - A Journey Begins
Share
Your first bike, is the one that shows you the joy of acceleration, freedom of open road and cornering pleasure. It gets a particular place in your heart. That bike is a Kawasaki ER-5 from 1997 and it holds special meaning. Bike is a part of my journey as a rider and it's my first bike ever.
Ideal Bike for Beginners
I wanted a bike that would be fun to ride and manageable, when I first started looking. That Kawasaki was the ideal choice. It's known for its manageable power and easy handling. That is why this bike is an excellent option for new riders. 498cc parallel-twin engine provides enough power to keep things interesting, without becoming overpowering. This bike lets you develop as a biker and you can work on your skill without getting scared.
My Red Rocket
I discovered my bike in ad, which was in the previous year. With its vivid red paint job, the bike immediately caught my eye. Red has always been associated with passion and excitement and this bike has certainly brought those feelings into my life.
However, my bike's Dominator exhaust adds even more uniqueness. Its roar is loud, assertive and bursting with personality. The sound of the throttle reminds me every time that I'm riding my bike, with all of its peculiarities and personality.
Country Roads and City Streets
I have ridden on both city and country roads a lot. The bike's agility is a big bonus in the city. Traffic jams are like history for me. It's lightweight, so it is easy to maneuver through traffic. In the beginning with each trip, I've gained confidence and have learned how to handle the bike and gained skill to stop the bike as fast as I can.
Out on the open road, that's where the ER-5 really gives the most joy. The bike is an ideal partner for twisting roads. I can enjoy my ride without traffic lights stopping me every time. As I accelerate, the sound of the Dominator exhaust roars through the countryside, heightening the sensation of adventure. I enjoy my time on that bike every time.
Considering the Future
Even while I adore my ER-5, I know I'll eventually desire something... bigger. The excitement of riding has only increased and my need for a bike with greater capacity, speed, and power also got bigger. But even in that day, I've already made up my mind not to sell my ER-5.
This bike - was my introduction to the world of motorcycling - it is full with memories. Rather, I intend to preserve it as my beginning. I want to give the engine some love and reselect it, and bring it back to its former splendor. My ER-5 is a reminder of the start of my riding career and it will always have a special place in my garage and heart.
In summary
Being the owner of my 1997 Kawasaki ER-5 has been the beginning of a passion. This bike has been a thrilling friend for me, whether I'm riding in the city or on rural roads. The ER-5 will always remain a part of my life, a reminder of where I started, and a marker of my development as a rider, even though I look forward to upgrading in the future.
